What kind of string do you use on your EBMM Petrucci guitar ?
Did you have any issue with string gauge ?
For which gauge the guitar is originally set up ?
What kind of string does John Petrucci use ?

did i have issues?
i just got a jp6 and i usually play 9's on my guitars, so it did take a day to adjust to the 10's

JP uses 9's these days on his standard tuned axes tho...

Did you have to change the set up of your guitar in order to use the 9->46 gauge ?

If you change to a lighter gauge, I would have to say yep....I went from 10's to 11's on one of my other ones and had to have it set up....I believe the same would apply.

I had to adjust the spring claw because of the lighter strings on top, but I didn't have to make any intonation adjustments.
