I just purchased an ESP C-305 five string bass. Its of 35" scale, I've owned five strings before but not this scale. My question is: On the Ernie Ball web site it states theres only one five string set available and it has rather small gauges in it. I've been using Power Slinks forever. So could I slap a Power Slink set on it and add a 130 gauge for the B string? My main concern: are they gonna be of a long enough scale (35")?

35 " length

You won't have any problems stringing an EB .130 on your 35 " scale length. My Music Man Sting Ray has a 34 " scale length and I have more than enough give.

We are in the process of making an additional 5 string sets....Stay Tuned.
