Here's something I've been wondering about but kept forgettin' to ask you guys about.

When you get a new EBMM from say, Guitar Center or Sam Ash or something..one that you pick up right off the floor....what kinda strings do they put on them?

I play super slinky 9 gauges...exclusively..I find them easy to move around on, last FOREVER, don't break and have great sound...

for some reason the ones on my Axis feel more stiff than the ones on my ESP..could they be 10 gagues?
