'Twas great meeting in person all these people I've had keyboard conversations with. I personally had an awesome time. That Northern Devil and seeing Strummer "steal" that BFR AL away from all the guitarists in the room were definite highlights. Many great musicians, traditional English food (curry) and as much Diet Coke as a designated driver like myself could drink. Big thanks to Blind Lemon and all the organizers who put the evening's festivities together. See you at the next one!

So how easy was it to get to your car in the purple ares?

Not as easy as it should have been! But they released me eventually and I crawled up my driveway at 1am exactly. Next time I'll sort out some London accommodation so I can partake in the alcoholic bevvies.

And Trev, you were there when the place opened, so by 6pm you MUST have been wasted, even if not of the alcoholic "wasted" variety.

And I thought your AL pictures looked to have been taken on a hotel bed undersheet Magnus, I sure hope S&T have some strong security guards watching your prized possession before they send it on to you. Or perhaps you are currently accepting trade offers before that happens? How soon they change their mind!

It was awesome there - spent most of the day on the drummer side with my mate, but played all the bongos!

OMG what awful pics of me! You were dreadful with that camera - didn't you manage to take one of Trev while he was eating?

Absolutely brilliant night - however on the way home I came down with a stinkin cold and feel like poo today. Serves us right for leaving early!

Can't wait to have the event repeated next year.

And yes, we had been on the beers early - there wasn't enough at the show to entertain us all day, so we spent a number of hours downstairs drinking beer BEFORE the bash
