I bought the correct colored knobs for my Axis SS, but the old ones don't seem to want to come off, any suggestions?

Just take a polishing cloth and put it under the knob and around the shaft of the pot as much as you can and pull. They'll pop right off. Shoe lace will work too. Don't go prying with screwdrivers and such.

I basically do as the others, work a cloth or shoe lace under the knob and very carefully pull upward.

Thanks guys, the shoe lace and cloth did not work. The teaspoons did the trick.

As long as you didn't mess up the finish, great. The pivot point of the levers with the teaspoons is on the top finish.
