Whoa,

Here's where we recorded last:

No pool
No stables
No heat

Just this run down old Masonic Temple. But oh, could those walls tell stories.

Cork and Kerry are very beautiful places,i just hope the weather was good for you !!

Thanks, thought it might be over that way :)

No, the weather was not good

But yes they are indeed very beautiful places and when the sun did pop out it made up for everything. We'll get over there again, we have great (Irish) friends in Kerry and it's always a pleasure to meet up with them.

The guy on the horse looks like bono.... maybe it's an irish thing... :p

:D its in our jeans ;)

the piano room was huge, there was a vocal booth off that and an amp room to the other side, filled with ampeg's vox ac 30 (i think thats what it was called,it looked about as old as me) and loads of other goodies.

i went straight into the desk but i brought my LMII as my tuner is in the same rack.which put with the bongo and an ampeg 4x10 had them all over me like a rash.

That paradise DTG recorded at looks flat-out rad! Love the piano room too!

We've been 'working' on a new album for 2-1/2 years now...really just getting at it when we have time (and money), but we're close to getting the mastering done now. Whew!
The first half of the album was recorded at a popular studio on the north-end of Seattle where national acts have done theirs, but it doesn't look much fancy; big room, iso booths, the usual.
The second half of the album was done at a new studio in the Tully's Coffee Headquarters, which previously used to be the Rainier Beer plant, and still smells like hopps! Our producer was building the studio from scratch, so we went and helped as often as we could.

I know Keith Duffy's brother, Paul. We met while my band and he were performing at "Pleasure Island" in Orlando Florida's Downtown Disney. Paul plays guitar, keyboards, trumpet, sax and sings like a bird as well as being a hell of a nice guy. He was playing in the Irish club called "Raglan Road." We were playing in "The Rock-n-Roll Beach Club." We would go see each other play on our breaks and we became fast friends; kindred spirits, almost. Small world.
I believe that Paul was also part of the movie/band "The Commitments" as well as "The Corrs."
Paul also told me that he has another brother that is a KILLER drummer. That's some talented family. Knowing how talented Paul is, I'm not surprised by your complimentary remarks about Keith's bass playing. "Like hearing chocolate melt." Wow! And who doesn't like chocolate?

the other brother is Jason and my god can he drum !! the whole family are very talented and really nice people.I think that is why the get the loin's share of the work here and well deserved. tis is small world indeed :D
