This Guy Really Lays It Out - a silver sparkle SR5 w/rosewood and matching headstock. He might be about a hundred bucks high on his starting bid, but who knows? He might get it (if Satan is on his side, yikes).

It's A GCREP Auction for a Copperhead SR5.

Check The Pickguard on this SR5!

One For You English Lads with a fancy mirror pickguard, too.

Orange Burst With Basswood Body - which is actually honeyburst on a Stingray 5. Yeesh, these guys are WAY off.

There are also a couple of Bongos up but the prices aren't that great for used instruments.

They're all really nice. But I'm currently waiting on one I just purchased from Roger (Stingrayzor) Shrader. It's a Sterling fretless w/piezo in natural finish. Just a couple more days ... Now see, if it wasn't for this forum, I'd still be looking for just the right fretless.

Hm... That funky PG'd SR5 reminds me... Anyone recall that one SR5 with a PG cut like a SR4 control plate? That was really cool, IMHO!

On the pickguard subject:

Could a metal plate (like Sterling plate) be used on a SR5? Or is the knob and switch spacing different? That would be a much cooler look (IMHO) than the cut pickguard. Then add a clear oval pickguard.....

Hm... I guess. It'd have to be a thick metal plate, though. PGs are around 1/8" thick, right? It'd also have to be shaped differently, as the SR5 has extra routing for its switch. It sounds possible, though!

Satan's got nothing to do with it. Satan plays Peavey, he's not allowed to have MM basses...

Randy
