SUB-1 stock pickups vs. Morse Pickups

Been thinking of different directions to take my SUB-1 in. Now, I'm thinking of the Morse DP200/DP205 set for the SUB. Both the Morse and SUB are poplar so I'm thinking I can get close to a Morse sound without the single coils in between. Thoughts on the sound?

I think it's a great idea ! (in fact an idea I would like to try but I'm too lazy ...).
If you do it, I will be glad to hear your opinion.

It'll probably be around Christmas time but I keep thinking. Right now the stockers aren't gelling with my Jet City JCA212RC amp. Need something fatter and rounder.

There's also the Dimarzio Joe Satriani set with the PAF Joe and Mo' Joe. Anyone try those?
