SUb 4 questions

Greeting's,
I recently aquired a sub four serial# x000264 Black active aluminum. I had a question about the preamp pots. On my Stingray the pots have indents ,and seem to have a little resistance when turning them. The ones on the Stingray have a nice tight feel. Anywho the Sub4 i have noticed doesnt seem to have the indents and the pots turn what to me is way to easily. This is the first sub I had the chance to play so I am not sure what the norm is with them?

Yep, that's normal. It is the same case with the SUB 5s. They don't have an indent because the preamps are used as boosts, unlike the stingrays, which has boost or cut option. Hope that helps.
