Sub 5 question

Hi, I just bought a newe SUB 5 with active pickups. One thing I am noticing is if i have the treble knob all the way up, I can hear crackle sounds coming from the G string. I even swapped out a new 9v and it is still doing the same thing. Any suggestions?

That, and wear boxers instead of g string.

Leave it to Magnus to bring down the tone. Then again, I suppose that IS a bass players main purpose. If that is the sort of g-string to which you are referring, then I'd be DAMNED concerned about the crackling noise! Forget customer service, get yourself to a hospital! Stat!

What type of crackle is it? With the treble cranked you will get more noise on the high end...
