I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the SUB in the sub basses stands for, if it stands for anything at all.

Yeh, seems to be quite alot of talk bout the S.U.B, and for its price it looks gr8, musicman, under £1000, gr8. but i was wondering was this because there is summit up with it i dont no.
is it hard wearing, neck and body, and is it worth gettin it with or without active pickups, as i am not sure, thanks, ROB

I am also interested in the passive SUB - mostly out of curiosity since the active upgrade is on $50 and all the SUB's I've seen online have been active. Obviously it won't be the same, but I played my G&L MFD's passive 99% of the time and loved it...

hey, thts for the advice i went ahead and got it, its gr8, i got it for round £600, not quite sure as i got a ritter case and planet wave cable free, so i not to sure, but does anyone no the LIST price (price ernieball recommend) of the bass
