Ive been offered a Sterling SUB for £450 (inc postage) is this a good deal? and is it a nice bass?

I've recently recorded with a Music man SUB and loved how it played and sounded, will this be a similar sound/feel?

I can't seem to find any info on the SUB anywhere to compare it to.

cheers

SUB = SLO made budget version of the StingRay
SUB Sterling = SLO made budget version of the Sterling

So it more or less comes down to a StingRay vs. Sterling discussion. Both are great basses, but they're different.

As far as I've seen on eBay they usually go for 1/2 to 2/3 of the price of a used regular StingRay or Sterling. I have no idea what those cost in the UK.

Well I've paid for it, just waiting for it to be delivered!! Just one mote question, the SUB I recorded with was passive, but the SUB Sterling is active, is it generally better to be active?
