Sub4 set up issue

Greeting's,
I just set up my sub4 and I seem to have a problem. When the E string is properly tuned. There is a very loud rattle or more like a vibration sound. This sound goes beyond fret noise. I checked the action the saddles tuners the works. When I listened to the neck while strumming the sound seems to be coming from under the nut maybe. I am worried that maybe I have a broekn truss rod or something. Anywho it's on the way to the shop today but I wondered if anyone had an opinion on it. Thanks - Mike

Well it looks like the issue is up in the headstock. One of the tuning head might need to be taken apart and tightened up. Thank god the truss rod is safe and sound. So I will have my Sub back by the weekend. Not sure if were allowed to plug repairmen but my buddy Stoly at Ak guitars. I consider to be one of the best in Rochester NY.
