Marshall Artist 4203 combo

If you ever get a chance, check out the Marshall Artist 4203 combo (or the 3203 - head version) amplifier. It's from the 1980's. Sweet 12" celestion vintage with dual EL-34's for the power section, solis state preamp and a 12ax7 tube rectifier. Really nice amps. Check out Harmony central for reviews. I got 3 of em. You see em on the bay for $400 - $550 every once in a while.

line6 spyder?

Too much tweaking man. I had a 1X12 and it was a nice amp, but I spent more time messing with it than actually using it to play.

Plus the Spider is the lower end of amps from Line6.

What are you planning to get to replace the F-30?

I'm looking into Orange amps. Sort of changing my tonal direction so to speak. The Mesa is a wonderful amp. It has amazing distortion and glass like cleans. But the tone I'm trying to achieve appears to be coming from the Oranges

I'm a Tube whore... I suggest finding a nice Peavey Ultra 212 or 112

so much tone, such a small and tasty package.

I had a chance to hear an F50 & an F30 in a club situation...sweeeeet! Lots of volume and lots of tone...I can't wait to run a Luke thru it.

I played a Classic 30 and Valveking combo tonight while i was picking up my DD Silo, gosh the C30 is nice, so warm and clear, very underrated amp it seems!

Tried a Classic 50? I reckon one of the most under rated amps around. You can pick up the 2x12 combo's used for around AU$1k - in the old tweed style if youre lucky - like me.....:D

Very Ballsy sounding amp. Only mod needed is to take off the cheesy 80's jagged "pEaVy" badge off the front.
