I thought they sounded exactly like I thought they would sound, having seen them a number of times, ranging back to the early 70s.
I never saw them on purpose, either - industry types calling me up, "Want to see the Stones?"

I saw some commercials leading up to the Superbowl in which I was almost sure I saw Keef playing a Silo. I thought that was purdy cool.
DJ is a very nice guy. I met him years ago out in the high desert when my best friend was working with Daniel Lanois. Had no idea who he was other than Dan's pal, also a bassist so how could we not get along? The next day I was informed that he was DJ, bassist for the Stones and a million other people. Frankly, I'm glad I didn't know. I hate being star-struck.
Seeing the Stones on Sunday reminded me of how good McCartney was.
BP, I never expect Steely Dan. Although it would be nice to not expect them and then get them, eh?
