Super Sport Owners - Question for You

The one thing I don't have in my recording arsenal is a LP-type guitar. How close is a Super Sport to LP territory?

Tone-wise, not terribly close. Super sport pickups are a lot hotter and more mid heavy.

My Morse HH BFR was the closest EBMM I've had to a Les Paul. Even the neck felt similar to my 91 LP Standard!
