Hi - input jack is not having tight enough contact with guitar plug tip/ring - so i have to jiggle to get connection .
In past when this happened with other guitars - i would just pull out jack and bend contacts to be tighter - all good.
but.. i took out jack on supersport and it is a sealed plastic connector with what seems to be no way to get to the actual guitar jack sleeve ?
Anyone know how to fix this *besides* taking it to repair shop .

Thanks

you can get tips from customer service and even the spare part.

I won't try anything if you don't feel comfortable with it

Normally you can just bend the metal arm back in place. However if it's a sealed jack you'll probably have to replace it (unless you can get in there somehow).

Worst case, a new jack is cheap. If you know how to solder it's a cinch. Else take it to a tech.

As mentioned, a good place to start is customer service ... they'll probably have better advice.

CS weren't able to supply a jack socket for a Piezo unit - I hope that you have better luck with your application.
You may be able to insert some implements similar to Dentist's tools/prods, through the jack pug socket to pry the leg to make the jack plug seat properly. I got some of these from a £1 shop in Cardiff.

Please please listen to CS's advice first but if this fails it may be worth a try.

Thanks for the suggestions - nice bunch on this forum - though i don't quite get the "ball bearings/gauze pads and 3-1 oil " lines :)
