NOS. The serial # put it between 2002-2003, according to Gavin's site.

Now you've got me wondering if I have that wrong.

Ask the Beth or Dargy for a DOB. Jack got that in like October or something, from the factory, they don't have NOS laying around in the factory as far as I know.

A couple of months wait to get a factory mint, unplayed condition in your model and color is acceptable I'd say.

Here it is: E32722

If I'm reading the EB Stingray serial # chart on the Rod Trussbroken site correctly, it was made between July and August of 2002.

I'm going to post this in the serial # sticky thread.

so, ya ... im screwed. due date on my HS Sterling is late feb. have no clue when the HH is due, havent asked; i figure counting the days for 1 is enough madness.

ya these EB basses rock. id buy more but Jack wont sell me any

I was told March will be my friend, bringing to a close a five month odyssey as I await delivery of my HH Sterling in trans teal/rw w/black pg. I had been playing my Bongo 4HH exclusively, but in the past week, have rediscovered my H Sterling (guess we'll have to assign designations to basses which, heretofore, did not need them).

I'm waiting on a Black Cherry Burst / Black / Maple / Matching Headstock SR5 that my friendly not-so-local GC says I should be getting on Feb. 10th. I just hope they're right, I'm supposed to play the 18th and 25th and don't want to still be playing my old Yamaha.

Oh yeah... for the record, my GC experiences have been fairly positive. Nothing particularly impressive, but nothing to complain about either.

James, I thought your Stingray was a 2005, Jack just got it last year new I thought.

Gavin confirmed the July/Aug 2002 build date for me. I've e-mailed our lovely and wild Beth :)D) for the DOB.

James, you have my ex-white Stingray? (I lose track very easily.) The one that Ben had, right?

That bass came directly to me from the factory. I'd be REALLY surprised if it was anything other than late 2005.

Let me check the serial # again (retrieves bass from bedroom)...

... yeah, E32722 on the six-bolt neck plate is what I've got.

Hi. I'm Chris.
I'm on wait for a Radiance Red Bongo 4 HH with a white pickguard that is supposed to be here by March. I still have a great bass, but I feel like a lesser player without my Bongo. Oooooohhhhh...

Thanks... I've been lurking since shortly after I placed my order, but never posted... I'm a quiet sort of guy

I'll definately try to get some pics up once it comes, even if it means a good teasing from my wife.

Hi, I'm Simon and I'm also new here. I ordered a Bongo 4HH sapphire black/moonstone last week and it should arrive early April... I hope... Aarghhhhh, the waiting...:(

Hi I am Paul, I have a Candy Red single 4H on order. Not exactly sure when I ordered it, but I think I might get it in March, but possibly earlier. Fortunately I have Bongos to hold me over until then. :D

Paul, I am exactly sure when you ordered it.

12/21/05

Whoops...you changed your initial order.

Make that early January.

There you go.
