Can't believe this post isn't dead yet been going for weeks now and still yet to see your ernie ball that u r supposed to be swirling besides if ball and co wanted the axes swirled i guess they would be doing musicman swirls themselves but i guess they drew the conclusion it's a load of hogwash and not worth the hassle stop waisting paint on lumps of wood and swirl ya ernieball or pay someone to do it so this thread can die a peaceful death.........:D

here is a new swirl finish, what do you guy think? any good?

no your eyes arnt playing tricks on you, this is to scale and this pigeon was trying to fly of with the biggest thing ever to be swirled!

i was supposed to swirl my mates tele today but when i was about to i saw the state of it in the sun, the sun that lasted 5 minutes!, and that was pulled for today it needs a lot of work re prep but here are a couple more pics these were going to be the colours

These swirls do look great!!!

I particularly like the idea of see-thru swirl over a solid-colour swirl....very imaginative!!!

in a while i can have a go, at the moment i cant get silver to work, i could make it a shade of silver, but i suppose it would really be grey? im trying to find other paints that i can use, glow in dark, floresant, metallics etc. if i find one i will post pics if i can get it to work. cheers for your interest. alan brum
