I can't hold off any longer, I'm gonna order a Bongo! I've been gassin' for one way too long.

I am sold on the Olive Gold colour and need your suggestions on the pickguard colour. Gold swirl is a bit too "busy" for me, so I'm thinking either Vintage White Pearloid or just plain black. What would you guy's suggest with Olive Gold?

No pickguard or clear if you must have one. That would allow that beautiful color to show more. :)

But if you must choose between the two you listed then I'd go with black.

You know, the option of no pickguard never even occured to me....

Other than that though, black is obviously the choice.

Thanks for the suggestions!

How many H's and S's?

I like the single H myself, but am GASing for a dual H to complement it. I wouldn't own the latter without the former though.

I haven't had the opportunity to play a single H Bongo but I would really like to compare it to the HS model. With the single H, the pickup is closer to the middle position so I'm thinking it must sound pretty darn good there. :D

Black or a custom clear would be cool.... the 'tort' & 'all things odd' lover in me thinks that vintage white pearl might be shweeeet. but then again, I think i may have eaten a few paint chips as a child...

:D

regardless, great call on Olive Gold and welcome the world of BONGOOOOOOOooooooooohhhhhhhhhh!
