Yah they made Rosewood Axis for a little while, people that have them love them.

The auction is marked incorrect though. The Axis Sport has been discontinued for a long time now, they never made the Axis Sport with a Rosewood body.

Question: why does the headstock say it's an Axis, not an ASS? The axis always has got a floyd nowadays, so where's the locking nut?

so it looks like the all rosewood neck went onto a blueburst Axis SS body, but this neck now on this Rosewood body is a plain Axis (non SS or Sport). Is there a third guitar involved here?

Also, this maple neck/rosewood board is a plain Axis...I didn't realize the rosewood board was an option on plain Axis's? Am I wrong on this? I thought the Rosewood board was only an option on Super Sports....?

I know about the Rosewood Axis's...I have a Rosewood Super Sport. I'm talking about the Rosewood fretboard/maple neck on a plain Axis. Never knew about that.
