Hi Guys

My mental problem has not improved with age. However, and from the spin off thread from this one, I was wondering about what I would gain from an HS over my current HH. That was another thread and I just push together. Where that left off was that the HS sounded huge differ to some and less to others - but I don't have anyplace to try one - no stores for several states away. AJ (EBMM) suggested that I pole the forum to see if anyone local has an HS Bongo. I got nada replies before.

OK - make the drive time bigger. Anyone close to Central PA or North and Central Jersey with a Bongo HS I can try with my HH and compare??

PM if that is better for you.

Thanx,

- Ziggy -

You know - I still have not found a place that has an HS I can try! Sad really. AJ (EBMM) looked about and thought maybe Russo Music in Jersey - but they don't answer emails if any Bongos in stock.

Anyone with an HS Bongo somewhat close to Harrisburg PA?

There are no places with upscale basses about here. I tell you, if Bass Central were to open a shop someplace about here they would clean up. Just a hole in wall with demo stuff and use the inventory in Florida to ship out.

Hmm - I just got home and could see the pics. They block pics at my other computer. Looks like a 2009 or 2010. I am going to visit that site though!

Yup - I agree - Fords and EBMM. My 1994 Probe GT in purple for guitar only shows, the red Edge when traveling light (wife's car though) and n0w the blue monster fo rreal gigging. With the super crew and 2009 up yu cna put the seats up and actually fit about 5 or 6 basses back there. Big space and no hump. So, another reason for more Bongos.....

I am not doing well with supressing my GAS attack I guess. Just trying to decide between a 4 or 5 and the pickups. There is one with an all rosewood neck. People say that have a great feel - but somehow I would miss the paint mayhaps....

Added this after the visit to the smoker site. Omigosh! Like makes me want to drool! Perhaps the ultimate Bongo! Not to mention I have become curious about a new way to cook.

ps, In fairness to your unlucky break buying trucks, before I switched to quality German vehicles, I owned a '68 Mustang 2+2 and a '71 T-Birdee with suicide doors , both Great buggies from before the Henryz got cheapened:rolleyes:

My humble apologeez

Hey Ziggy,
First, I think I posted a very rude reply last night and I dissed your Beautiful Wheel, I'm so sorry for my rudeness, not only did I offend you, but also BP and all you wonderful Forumitez by uttering such trash as I did ... my intended msg was to encourage you to trade the Wheel for a truckload of Bongoz:eek:, I know I've been very far down these daze, but that's no excuse for my gross rudeness while trying to be funny, so ... once again, my humble apologeez to you and to you wonderful EBMM Forum family, who are like my real family to me by your patience and kindness toward me:)
PLease all, forgive me, and God Bless YouZ'All
Love,
ATB;)
