In the beginning he and Pete Townshend bought the first 4 100 watt amps produced by Marshall. Pete went over to Hiwatt and JE may also have used Hiwatt at some stage.
He also used Sunn Colisseum and the Ashdown PM series amps.
At the end of his life he used Digitech pre amps and Trace Elliot power amps.

Yeah. He's really tough to pin down, I guess. I guess that's what generated my question.

Let's not forget the songwriting. My Wife is one of my favorite Who songs.
He was a monster bass player. There's not too many bass players that could have kept up with Keith Moon.
