Ehmmm........the BEST!

Next thing, they'll be telling us there's millions of websites out there!!
What's this world coming to! ;)

I hear you can purchase cyber real-estate now too and that some guy has made $8,000 on it already. Here's what I found:

Man, people will buy and sell anything! Well, then. Next they'll want to modify the carbon dioxide tax to charge people for breathing out and find ways to measure it. Then, those who exercise will be taxed at a higher rate than couch potatoes, encouraging obesity and the use of pharmaceuticals to control it. Absolutely everyone will be 'on' something (= big $$) from birth til death. Don't get me started...

Carbon dioxide tax:
"Compulsory tax levied on fuels in accordance with their carbon content, with the aim to encourage using less carbon-intensive fuels and to reduce energy consumption."
If you want to know more about it, either follow this link for 1 article or google it yourself:

I was an objector I don't go on there enough, but I've visited. I was prejudiced by the bad rap it's gotten in other forums....my bad. Nothing worse than contempt prior to investigation. I've learned so much from the bass forums I frequent. Took the good and left the bad.....

I goto TB to see what's up when things are quiet elsewhere. Yeah there are some tools but overall I like it. Tons of info. I signed up here yesterday and also goto the DP and HC every now but where I spend the most time is at the LDLD. It's smaller but the S/N ratio is great, there are really sharp folks there and there's a real sense of community there too. Been interesting so far here though... :)

Oops!

Sorry, LDLD = Low Down Lowdown. It's the forum from Bass Player magazine. Been there for a year and a half. :)

I get alot of good info too, but yeah there can be some useless immature BS to sift through. I have also met several nice people in my area from TB.
I crack up over the SX lovers' posts tho....

The Internet is the Internet. You don't like what you see click the x. On a mac. pc or linux.
