Taylor Swift Music Man

Ok, the title's a 'little' deceiving. . . I work at a major arena in the NYC area where Taylor Swift was spending a couple nights here last week, and I handle a bit of the house photography for the building (along with many other creative related duties). I happened to be on the floor when she sound checked, and couldn't help but notice that one of her guitarists was sporting an Axis,which really cut through the mix really nice. I think they were running through 'Love Story', he latest single.

Now, unfortunately when I was shooting the show he was pretty much sticking to strats the first couple of songs, so I never got any stage shots of the Axis, but I just wanted to note that it did sound really good. Don't know his name or anything, but I thought it merited mentioning. . . probably the only time Taylor Swift ever will be here - lol.

And just as a point of reference, I'm a Petrucci guy through and through. . .

i saw brad paisley a year ago and he was playing an Albert Lee on a few of his songs... and it was simply amazing. The tone that these guys tend to get are just incredible

Leave some space in the songs, then everything doesn't have to be overly compressed!
