Nope, it's not just an app - it is actually wicked cool, though I can't give you further info right now...

Yea def not a stand alone app. That iphone/ipad was hovering over guitar pickups.

I agree Paplo you said to much. Unless you work for TC you should be able to tell us. If you don't want to make it public just pm me details. I will not post anything you tell me any where on the web!

Funny, I got an email this morning about something "similar", (ahem, cough cough, laugh my ass off). A bass with 76 pickup combinations - based on what looks like a dozen mini switches! They said it was a world first. I'm sure it was. TC comes up with interesting stuff. I just wish they'd hurry up and get to the downloadable custom tunings for the PolyTune. They told us to expect drop-D in July. No news since, alas. I guess mandolin tuning will be while coming yet! :-D

My guess is modelling pickups that can be programmed ("Toneprinted") by a transmission from a smartphone app - i.e. the toneprint principle applied to pickups but with a wireless interface to get around the USB cable needed to download the toneprints to the pedals.

Yea, that video teaser makes no sense. But I like what TC do, so should be something cool. Now what do you guys think of that G****n firebird x thingy? That thing looks absolutely ridiculous...like a toy for a 5 year old.

Yea, I know that I should keep that to myself and I usually do, but I feel quite strongly about that one. I think its a horrible joke that costs 5K. If it needs to be removed so be it.

Well (Spud says in a whisper) It does make you kinda wonder and scratch your head. In considering such an option it makes me even more determined to get a MM with GC (Bring it on Silo fashion !!!)

It's handy. I used it last night at rehearsal to switch between toneprints on my delay. Not the coolest thing known to man, but a really neat thing to give back to users of their products.

I, for one, was impressed that they put the effort into building this.
