Today I changed the strings that came with my Sub1 guitar I bought about 2 weeks ago. The shop put 10-46 on it and I wanted to change them for Ernie Ball's Slinky top heavy bottom strings.
When I was finished changing the strings I did a check if everything was correct. Then I noticed a tear on the string nut at the low "E" string.
I don't know how it happend, but the string nut probably didn't like the "heavy" bottom.
Now i'm trying to figure out what i can do best. Go back to the shop? Send a mail to the EBMM customer service?
Do you guys have any advice? I rather don't want to wait until the whole nut is teared.
