I played at the Atlanta Blues Society's Back Porch Blues Fesitval (Hubert Sumlin headlined) a couple of weeks ago, and some pics are starting to trickle online.

Here's the only one that's made it so far:

The Fesitval was also videotaped, and they even did a board recording, too, so I should have something in a couple more weeks. The Bongo played like a champ, and sounded like a million bucks, for sure.

I also just found out that we're going into the studio at the end of August, so I'm sure I'll be using the Bongos for some, if not all, of that stuff, too. :D

Looks like fun, amigo. I like your sense of style.

(Same as mine apparently - "It's hot. Only a fool would wear long pants.")

We played outdoors last Saturday and 3 out of 4 cowpilots wore JEANS.

Idiots.

Cool pic, I'm sure you guys sounded great. Sorry I missed it, but Atlanta-area gigs are a bit more of a hassle for me to catch than they used to be. :)

How was Hubert Sumlin?

You need to wear dark clothing rather than camo gear for that Bongo :D

What can I say? The Bongo and I are one.

Actually, it's a blue shirt and khaki shorts, but it certainly washes out in that pic, don't it?

Yes, you certainly did. Of course, you caught me on a bad day at work, so it couldn't have been the most pleasant experience.

Did you ever grab a set of Sadowsky flats? I absolutely love them on the fretless Bongo.
