How come my Bongo bass just says Music Man on the head? Why no Ernie Ball? Is it because those BMW guys designed it?

I think (I read this somewhere but don't quote me on it) that MM refers to the guitar side and EB is the string side of things. Again, how right my info is is questionable.

That won't work, since the Rays and Sterlings have the EB/MM logo on the front of the headstock.

Yeah! Try having the last name "Darling"! I received no end of **** at school about it. It was only in college that the girls thought it was cute. I just saw that you are in Cincinnati. I wish I was there. I feel a mighty need to go to Skyline Chili!

It is a branding issue. All new models since the sub dont have ernie ball on the headstock

Ernie Ball and Music Man are very distintly different brands and require different marketing and promotion Long term it will be better if each tradmark is separate.
