Temperature and my Stingray's neck

Well... here's the deal. I'm off at college and I left my bass at home (gasp!! I know, it's been hard), BUT there is no one at home right now. My parents have been out of town due to my dad's job for more or less the past 2 months. Therefore, my bass has been sitting in an unheated house for 2 months. I live in the Chicago suburbs, so the weather has been sporadic, jumping between 30 and 70 degrees within the last 2 weeks.

I'm a bit concerned for my bass. Obviously there is nothing I nor my parents can do at the moment, but I will be going home this upcoming Friday. Somehow I didn't really think of this issue until I realized I would be needing to play at a church conference the entire week of my Thanksgiving break. Should I be expecting the worst, or do you think my bass will be OK? I'm freaking out a bit right now...

It's an EBMM, of course it will be alright. The question is; who is supervising the bass while no one's around? All night parties, loud music and rabble rowsing abound for ole EBMM no doubt. I bet the house is trashed with empty finger board conditioner bottles strewn all over the house from the wild orgies. I'd get back there quick, before it runs off to join the circus.

Is it in the case? If so, I wouldn't worry about it too much. The case tends to maintain its own micro-climate and outside changes affect it only very slowly; it's the rapid changes that can make things shift.

I have three EBMMs accompanying me on an around the world cruise. We sailed from dry, summertime California, through the hot and humid Pacific, the typhoon lashed China Sea, an unusually warm Indian Ocean and now the balmy Med and guess what? Only one needed her saddles to be adjusted slightly to compensate for climate effects (and only because I want a ridiculously low action). These things are very stable. On the way home we will plow through the Atlantic in the wintertime and I am pretty sure that the necks will hold their set up just as good.

Yes, it's in a insulated house in an insulated case most likely in a closet +\- 50 degrees will probably be about +/- 15 degrees in a house/closet/case

Whew. Good to hear. I knew I shouldn't have left her at home... I've missed her so much!
