My oh my,

time flies indeed. The open house still only seems about weeks ago and it's been more than three years now. Time is passing me by way too fast.

Now, I just wanne share another story about how mindblowing EBMM is. At the end of 2007 we did a gig with colleagues from work at the end-of-year reception. The bass player had just gotten his first Stingray a few days before the first rehearsal and he was quite surprised to see a guitar player with an EBMM guitar. I told him my story on having owned more than 6 sons of Gib (even at the same time) and several other guitars that I kicked out collectively in exchange for EBMM guitars and explained him why the same would happen to him over time. His wonder about my words couldn't have been bigger. At the end of last year I spoke to him again, guess what, he only plays and owns EBMM now. The same goes for the guy I sold my EBMM Morse blueburst stoptail to (I wish I hadn't, but he didn't want the tremolo one :D). He was never going to sell his other guitars blah blah blah. By now, he already owns three EBMM guitars and has kicked out all other electric guitars in his stable. It is just amazing what these guitars do to you isn't it?

I know I have not been posting a lot the last year(s) but the flame for EBMM still burns fiercely in my life. I do lurk around reading some posts from time to time and was yet again very impressed by the images of the anniversary Axis which looks absolutely stunning. Sterling, you and your team are a neverending flow of creativity and improvement which deserve all the respect you can get. I am still extremely pleased with my 20th Ann Sil, my Morses and my ASS.

As for the music: I recently joined a band here in Belgium that already had about 10 songs of their own which we are rehearsing now to go on stage with. My other band, the guys I have been playing with for about 15 years now, is also moving back into rehearsal mode and things are going great musically. I just do not get to posting as often as I would like. I am continuously extremely busy at work, I am rehearsing from time to time and I am trying to give my 2 sons (number 3 is on the way for June 2009) a lot of time and attention as well. Not to mention my 1 to 2 hour sport intermezzo a day ;).

So, just a post to tell you all that I am still a happy member of the EBMM family and I really hope I will get another chance to meet a lot of you at one or another open house.

Cheers,

Tom.

Tom thanks for the kind words and stick around...hows the mIssus/

Sterling, the gratitude is all on my behalf. Thank you for all the great craftsmanship that you keep on delivering year in year out. I still consider the open house as one of my musical highlights and that was all thanks to you and all the people at EBMM. My wife is just fine, she nearly has no problems because of her pregnancy and she started working as a teacher this school year which she likes very much.

Spud, any more info on the UK bash? I will try to look it up one of the following days here on the forum but I do not think I will get to go out for a few days on my own once number three is keeping is out of our good nights sleep :D.

Hm, did Yes use a lot of latin in their song titels or albums that you guys were expecting Yes content? I certainly was not aware of that, it is just a leftover from my middle school.

Ok, so much for now, I will try to dial in more often in the future.

Gr, Tom.
