I was in Brownsville on a warrant a few months back, my first time in Texas.

sadly Mandy will be too busy to attend.
It was hilarious though, when I mentioned it to her, she had to question me twice about my sanity, she said her bass knowledge is limited and she would run out of subjects to talk in under a minute, and with all the wives and gf's away, it didn't look good!
Lastly she's got a hire car but no sat nav (without which she is able to get lost in London!)

Basses? Yeah, that's what I'd do.
Basses and rigs are always de rigeur. You may, if you wish, bring any sort of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage which pleases you; vodka martinis are generally the drink of the day.
Snacks are cool if you're up to it.
Mainly, bring yourself and everything will be fine.
