Anyways, both Nick and I will be there, but at this point we are not sure who our entourage will consist of. We've got 2 guys who would be happy to give Auntie Lucious a run for his money when it comes to BS'ing. He's their idol, if that says anything. The rest of the guys are bestest friends. That's the one weekend a year that I throw an out of control party, so it looks like I'm partying in Dallas!


Koogs is picking Nick and I up at the airport for NAMM. For the birthday bash I am either renting a shortbus or a paddywagon (because my type of friends feel at home in either) or I will hire a driver. Hopefully the hotel and the bash are in close proximity to one another! The last time we rented a short bus we wound up in a paddy wagon after the driver went through the front of a Subway up in R.I. and kept driving, only to open up the door and dump us out into the middle of the campus quadrangle at Brown. Big mistake dumping us idiots into the middle of a quote unquote Ivy Leage college. The boys in blue were playing roundup for about half an hour, believe it or not a buddy found a unicycle and he gave them the most trouble.

Luke was in NYC on Halloween last year, I really wanted to drive over and kidnap him so he could be at my birthday party on the 5th, but I figgered his tour date in Europe was slightly more important.

Pete...the statute of limitations has expired and I now have me a bona fidie AZ driver's license (in my real name and everything) now. Still up in the air whether or not I can make it as Karen wants to take the boys to Disneyland that week and it's the only window of opportunity to do so this summer as she starts a new job on 7/17.

Hey, she was a good sport and went to NAMM in January with me so I can't gripe too much but that still doesn't mean I'm gonna get on any scarey rides or anything.
