Other than the Hyatt for this November gig what other places are there to stay that is cllose?

Google maps are worse than trying to read a Beethoven chart.

Oh I know about the power of the Internet but every map from hotel or motel is weak about overall distance from the Hyatt.

If I stay at the Hyatt. Anyone have a map of the parking lot?

:)

When searching for hotels I would suggest looking for those with DFW airport in the title. I believe Jack is working on a list of hotels though and should have some more info tomorrow.

Is this airport near Fort Worth? I have family there that almost demands I come stay there.

yeah I should be patient but this is excitement for the old hillbilly.

The airport is right smack in between Dallas and Fort Worth. As long as you think you or your driver will be sober enough to get you back, that would be my suggestion.

No, Ft Worth is not close.

Here is a list:

List of Nearby Hotels

Since our venue is right at the airport, you can use those distances from DFW as a fairly handy guide.

Harvey Suites, Super 8, the Westin for you fancy boys, Paul and Larry may know more offhand about what's over there.

The airport is smack dab in the middle of the 2 cities. Irving has a few hotels, like Embassy Suites and the like.

There's a Marriott down the street from me on Trinity Blvd and 360, and a Days Inn halfway down the block.

If I get there by my lonesome I think sleeping in the truck will work. I am going to come early and stay late. :)

I reckon I will get the lay of the land once I get there. Been awhile since I got off I35 in Dallas.

Thanks guys.

The affordable hotel I'm thinking of is Harvey Suites.

Who's Harvey? Damned if I know, but I checked it out last week and it seems decent and clean and has coffee all the time.

I will call them today and see if they mind being overrun by nasty musicians.

I would be willing to check out some of the hotels and see about a good rate but I will be out of town starting Sunday and won't be back until next Saturday. If you think you can wait, I'll see what I can work out week after next. A lot of the hotels that are on the South side of the airport are within a mile or two of my house.

I am still thinking about it all and think I need not hurry the process too much. Thanks Larry.
