Well if any of you have followed my other thread about my concern with noisy pickups in a new Axis, and posted replies, or checked out my video demoing my problem and confirming with me that there is an issue - thank you! This is by far the best forum and most active guitar forum I have came across.

Previous to my inital post, I had contacted Ernie Ball and DiMarzio about my issue, and of course they say "Send it in!" But between Guitar Center screwing up my order, and taking them a month to get the order corrected for me (now I have 2 noisy Axis guitars at home - still need to send the other one back to GC), shipping the guitar away again right away was my last resort I was trying to stay away from. After you all confirmed with me that I have an issue with my Axis, I called Ernie Ball up again, and got an RMA and will end up having to send in the guitar. :(

But this forum is AWESOME!!! And thank you for the help!!

We have a mantra here, and it seems you've followed it pretty well. Always call your dealer, then call Customer Service.

Sucks that you have to send it back in, but it's in good hands. I've had to send 2 of my Balls back to SLO. Both came back PERFECT. So have no fear, your Axis is in good hands in SLO.

By the looks of your other thread, it seems Dudley is on the case, also. Nobody better to be looking into a problem like this.

Well, You know, EBMM is the best guitar manufacturer around, so this fact somehow had to extend onto the people playing them :)

No, really, it's a very loveable bunch with mostly really great human skills for an internet forum

+1

Every once in a while we get a complete nutjob who just wants to stir everything up, but for the most part the forum here is really great.

actually this is the wrost example. He had a problem we asked that he send it in and instead he now has two threads and a you tube video. Wonderful

Dudley is on it.

I just hope he will do another video AFTER Dudley has sorted this thing out, so everyone can hear and see the silence of the Axis...

we all know that its best to send it in and it will be put right but i think everybody who has a problem with a guitar of theirs would hope its only a minor issue and that someone can help them put it right without having to send it away.

yes i know it must be frustrating to keep repeating the rules over and over (which i agree with btw) but at the end of the day we are all just looking to play and enjoy our guitars which we often sarcrifice alot to own and if a problem arises then often its too tempting to post a couple of threads in hope of finding a quick fix first.

i think its the fact that we love ebmm guitars so much that drives us to do these silly things BP and not to piss anyone off . I am sure he'll delete the vid if you asked him to.

Yeah a pretty nurturing community here. Just wait until you really are here for a long while, then you get fingbeagles sending you free guitars he doesn't need and dubaldo hitting on your girlfriend.

Note: that was fictitious.

Really? Really Really? Did you try either guitar? Didn't think so. So how can you say there is nothing wrong? If there isn't anything wrong with the guitars, then what is it Mr. Expert? It's not the amp...cause it's been on a handful of different amps...different cables...and different locations...so then what is it? And why does the guy at DiMarzio say there is a problem after seeing the video?
