Hello everybody. i usually hang out on the bigger strings forum but since i just got a guitar, i tought it was the right time to say hi!

It's a return to guitar for me after some more than 15 years i guess. I switched to bass after having too many buddies playing guitar and no bass players. I still love bass but it's fun to play guitar again after all this time. It felt natural to get a music man since i love the basses so much.

Arin hooked me up with a really nice Silhouette (with loads of extras, including the original pickups).

Arin, it was a real pleasure to buy this guitar from you. thanks again! yet another confirmation for me that dealing with knuckleheads is always fun.

thanks guys, it was really well preserved overall. I never did see an honeyburst before, it's really beautiful. i'm having a hard time putting it down. i don't understand why silos are almost non-existant around here.

That's a great looking guitar. You can tell it will play very well just by looking at it. And you can't go wrong with a hardtail Silo. Enjoy.

I dunno Rob, from those Namm vids, sounds like Hiland makes that HSH sound GREAT.

I have never heard the standard sound like that before. Sounds wonderful.

oh i didn't mean anything by showing this in SSS mode. I do have the original pickups (HSH) and they are going back in soon. I'm sure Hiland knows enough to choose a HSH model for himself is playing definitely demonstrates that he knows way more than me anyway.
