Thanks for putting on an awesome show at the Tack Room. That's the closest I've gotten to my guitar heroes and I appreciate it. Steve M., Lucious and AL were all on tonight as were all the musicians. I personally loved SM's solos that centered around harmonics----that's some tough stuff to nail. Even though I'm waiting for my Luke to come in I am seriously jonesing for a Steve Morse Y2D. I had an original but the placement of the toggle etc... wasn't comfortable to me. The Y2D looks perfect. Maybe for my Christmas gift to myself next year.

Standards were played w/ extended, ripp'n solos taken by the Big 3 as well as the Piano player (awesome as well) and on a few songs from BP, the other bass player and on one song from the drummer. The band finished at around midnight after starting at 8:15ish with one small 10 minute break in between sets. The (rookie) singer had some pretty good pipes, as did AL.

All in all, a big thumbs up for BP and crew for setting this up and allowing me the opportunity to attend this surreal event.

yes I have photos but they are on a real camera not a digital so it may be a while before they are developed. I'll post them when I get them developed.

Glock,

I wish I knew you were there I would have loved to have met you. I had a great time too. One thing I loved was that when Albert would play a solo, Steve and Steve would both just stop playing and stare. Albert was fantastic.

Shhhh! you hear that scraping sound? That's Sterlings cahonies dragging the floor for taking a solo after Steve Morse. If I had to do that I would just faint.

Sterling made my christmas beautiful.

Hey Norm,

Wish I could have met you as well. I met a few people but none of the forumites from here. Maybe we should have caps made up saying EBMM Forum Members (or some other design that distinguishes us from any other) and on the back have our forum names. Or maybe even a t-shirt/polo shirt. Just a thought that sounds pretty cool to me.

Hopefully we can meet up at the next get-together. I might be going to NAMM but it is a longshot right now.

I agree that Albert was smoking. I would take the chops of any of those 3 that night w/o question.

Can anyone tell me how I can load the rest? It currently says I've reached my quota. I'll try doing a search in the mean time. Thanks
