After waiting 3 weeks for customs clearance, my Albert lee BFR has finally arrived home...

In the last two years, since playing my first MM, I have sold all other electric guitars : Parker Fly Deluxe, Tom Anderson, Les Paul Classic +++, Tellie, Eric Johnson Strat, etc etc

On my way to the "all musicman territory", I've also owned a Luke III : a fabulous axe but a little too "muscular" to my taste and a Silhouette which was sold mostly because of its color :D

I'm much happier now with my 3 "pointy" AL than I've ever been. The BFR is absolutely fantastic. I LOVE that pinkburst more than I could explain. The sounds are "bell-like": it will resonate forever. It's also very light and the neck COULD NOT be improved in any way. Lord, that neck....

It's a shame they will be discontinued because it's quite simply the best guitar I've ever played!

Funny to hear how different the BFR and the PDN2014 sound (both SSS with different body woods). Similar of course but quite different, I'd have a hard time chosing the one I prefer.

Thanks MM for making my life funnier!

Very nice, congrats to you.

I have a non-BRF AL SSS, and I know what you are saying - the ring for days!!!

Congrats Jason! The pinkburst is beautiful in person. The employee in the ebmm spray booth is a master of his or her art.
I'd love to see a family pic, please...the three Alberts.

Here you go!

Sorry for the low quality Ipad pictures...

BFR is the real deal! I almost called in sick to stay at home playing!

The backsides of the Als look really beautiful. You sure do have some nice necks. Thank you for posting these great pictures.

The fronts are even more spectacular! Problem is I can't take a decent picture of it!
Backplates of the PDN's are signed, did you notice?
A bit disapointed at first with the pdn 2014 neck which isn't too flamed... but plays great and sound fab:)
