Beauty...the AL is the most underrated guitar on the planet.....I believe I spent more time at NAMM playing one than any other guitar......congrats!

Welcome to the forum g_man - and nice AL! Hey, two of my Axis's are from the 12th Fret - they are a great shop with some terrific staff!

g-man,

Congrats and welcome to the forum. I'm waiting on an AL with MM-90s myself, but I've got a couple of months to go yet.

Enjoy!

Hi!

Here are a few pics of my new AL. This is a fabulous guitar, I am just so impressed with the way it plays, sounds and looks. It really is an honour to play such a beautifully made guitar.

And thanks to Mike at the 12th Fret in Toronto...a super nice and enthusiastic MM guy who spent time setting it up and making sure everything was perfect.

I just had to bump g_mans post - that guitar is too friggin' sweet to "sink slowly into the sunset" !!!

One question for g_man: Could you tell me when you placed your order for the AL? I want to guesstimate when my guitar might come in without bugging the EBMM CS people?

Thanks!

LOL! I've been bugging Kevin from CS so much about my orders, but he has been ULTRA nice and friendly every time, i feel really guilty asking such dumb questions but everytime he has been a model of professionalism.

hooray for Ernie Ball customer service!

I placed the order in mid-Feb. I picked up the guitar about 3 weeks ago or so, I think it ended up being about 5 months from order to the store confirming it came in.

The wait was hard, as I guess many know here. What was even worse was I travelled with my new AL after a few weeks and the airline lost it for about 24 hours or so. That was a long 24 hours :)

Agreed. I had emails with both Beth and Kevin, and they are great. I am still not sure if they want to be bothered with delivery questions, but if so, you wouldn't know it from their friendly, prompt replies.

Thanks for the info! Assuming a 5 months waiting period, mine should be here in early October... Only 2 more long agonizing months...

Cheers!

If mine arrives when Kevin told me it likely should (after I bugged him!), that would be about 5 months on the nose. Seems like that's kind of the standard waiting time now. I know it's sick, but I actually enjoy the anticipation period.
