Man - even I'm excited for you!!!
Just loadsa rain here!!!
Finally back home - 14 rellies from USA over tomorrow - Partytime Fri/Sat/Sun !!!
Awesome! loadsa rain here too... i keep looking for the delivery truck or the mail man to deliver but nothing yet... maybe today when i get home from work.
OK... so yesterday was an incredible day for me- more details to soon follow...
but to top it all off i got a text towards the end of the day asking if i knew anything about a "tube" being delivered from the UK?
oops kinda forgot to give the heads up on that one... LOL!
Long story short i rushed home as soon as i was off work and there she sat the "tube" that had gone missing was now on the table awaiting my acceptance.
Without haste i opened the package and could see the Magazine signed by Albert Lee ... slowly it was pulled from the tube and lifted up like some sort of trophy... i was excited.
As we know Spud doesn't just do things halfway... there was an added bonus slowly and delicately i began to curl the poster up in preperation of extraction from the tube... not sure of what it was exactly i was filled with anticipation and as it slid out of the cardboard tube and uncurled i could feel my cheeks being lifted as a smile took shape on my face...
it was a poster of the cover of the guitar magazine featuring the Blue Al...
i was so excited (have i already said this?)
Spud... thanks a million for sending this out to me and i'm going to be taking it all in to get framed here shortly... but pictures will be posted when i get home tonight.

Me too... i think i mentioned in my email to you (if you got it) that yesterday was an incredible day... the last 20 days have been quite intense as i've been up for a pretty big promotion at work and it finally was made offical yesterday that i was being moved from my current position to the new one and then to top it off i got the guitar mag and the poster... and to be honest i was going to let you keep your copy as it was too kind of you to send the first one and i couldn't ask for you send a duplicate but really goes to show how generous you are. great to see these days and just illustrates how awesome the knucks are!

Fantastic news on the promotion - hope it all goes well. The mag would have been sent - I have another (unsigned) and I was of the opinion that I'll prolly get to see Albert some tiome this year so could have got that one signed.
As I said - so glad you got it. that poster is a rare 'un. - maybe one day you'll get to see Al- I'm sure he'd sign it for ya!!

the Promotion is met with great excitement and anticipation.
I had the pleasure of being invited to a special AL event many years ago and i had the pleasure of getting to talk to him for about half an hour. What a briliant man and so kind - above all i remember him just saying "I"M HAVING FUN WITH IT" and you could tell that he just loved being there and sharing with us some insight on technique...
