A few weeks ago, dstockden paid forward some extra sets of 9 gauge strings.

I was one of the lucky ones to get as set. It arrived yesterday, and to my amazement, I realized he sent them from England!

I find it awfully generous for someone to ship a set of strings (free strings at that) to some stranger across the pond. He could easily have offered them only domestically and saved some cash.

I got a set from him too - it was great to meet him at the Music Live event last Sunday - I was so bummed that we didn't get to see each other later for more of a chin wag and a photo shoot.
Never mind - there's always the bash next year.
