For those of you that didn't know, I produce a breakfast radio show here in Brisbane. Every morning coming up with new and hopefully fresh talk topics can be quite a challenge. So a big thanks goes out to Keith, Jack, Steve, Kevin (Ernie Ball) and Beth!

It was being reported that meat pies (a popular Australian food) are to be sold in America, so we thought let's ring some Americans and ask them if they've ever heard of meat pies and would they eat them?

Keith was more then happy to help out, as where the others. Unfortunately due to time getting away it was difficult calling the others back. My apologies to not getting back to everyone, but it was a blast to chat on the phone! Kevin from EB thanks for being so helpful too!

With Keith's permission maybe we could make the audio available somehow?

Thanks to a great forum.

You can all imagine how blown away I was as on my drive to work this morning I was listening to Colin's brekky show and I hear the announcers say "now we're going to talk to Keith Baim in America!!!"

I assume you also gave the announcers all of the "stats" on guitar sales in Australia to Colin.

You're carrying those two guys Col. :D

I SO would love to hear that show :)

Colin, any way I can listen from the UK? I'm up for phone-ins if you ever need a Brit to talk to, for any reason at all!! :D

I was Sir Not Appearing On This Radio Show as I was, unfortunately, headed out the door to a business meeting.

Dang! My one big chance to get This Voice on Aussie radio!

Please, please, give me another chance!

Are these the sort of meat pies I'd be able to get at my local chippy down the road? :) I'm not too keen on the meat ones but like chicken and mushroom.. provided someone can take out the mushrooms for me :D

Are these those "Z pies"? They had a restaurant in SLO a while back (Z pies! From AUSTRALIA!!!) next to Woodstock's pizza, but I think it tanked within a year. Don't think many people have had much luck in that location in SLO, but I had a Z pie once and it was good!

Jack it would have been a blast to get you on and it will happen. I still can't believe Simon (McVinyl) listens to the show, I also believe a certain Rod Trussbroken listens as well. Tiffs we will be doing a dual outdoor broadcast with Nova very soon.

Happy to help out, Colin. Post away.
Nice being able to chat on the phone after so many pm's back and forth.

If those meat pies are ever available at Staples Center (where the Lakers play), I'll definitely try one. Most of the concession food is mediocre at best and way overpriced...but the philly cheesesteak is okay.
