You're welcome...glad you could keep your guitars. I know if I had to sell mine it would hurt to the core. So glad you didn't have to go through that.

Well deserved and you are welcome!

It is so cool to see how a few big and many small donations (like mine) can add up and make a difference. The people on this board are genuinely great folks. I am so happy for you that they came together and helped you keep a couple of great instruments that obviously mean a lot to both of you.

I had to sell my 70's Gibson G-3 and 80's Fender MIA P in the early '90s for financial reasons along with an old tube Fender Basman amp and Hiwatt stack. It killed me at the time and still pi$$es me off that I had no other choice at the time.

Those guitars look much better on you 2 than they would on anyone else. Enjoy!

And kidneys.

I can understand why they thought of the guitars first. I'd never want to be forced to sell my instruments and have to replace them. But with the fine quality control at EBMM, one instrument is going to be very close to the next. With second hand internal organs, all bets are off.

Excuse me, but I don't need wonder wipes unless I can use them on my grand baby( you know what for) and have him play like BP as soon as he can hold that SR5. :)

Those pictures posted are all the thanks needed.

Good things shouldn't get all mushy. They are just good things.

I for one don't have an imaginary friend on this forum.

You all are real.

Let's get back to making fun of Warwicks. :D

Many congratulations on your new home together, your rescued guitar and bass, and your love for one another. I enjoyed following this and participating almost as much as you enjoyed keeping your instruments. That's probably true for most (if not all) of us. So I hoist a beer in your honor and honestly say, it was a pleasure and a privilege to participate!

Even more so after seeing the picture of you two with Bobby. That is one gorgeous bass -- the abalone guard is da kine.

Grins,

Wow, who'da thunk when I first saw that Sterling in my local shoppe it would become part of such a great story! So glad everything worked out for you Azzy and Trev, I hope the future is starting to look brighter (though not an easy feat seeing as it takes place in London)! ;)

Not to freak you out Tiff, but is it possible the Macbook thief has a copy of that photographic evidence?

Congrats! After all the bad stuff you hear about people everyday, it's refreshing to read about something positive for a change. And in this case, for such a good cause.

Enjoy your EBMM instruments in health and happiness! :D

Great to see the pic of Azzy & Trev with their (now safe) EBMMs :D

That was a very nicely written thank you to the all the forumites who helped out Azzy, I know I only played a small part but you are both very welcome.

Good luck to you both for the future.
