That's not what he's asking. The only way to get a 4 band preamp with a single H on a Bongo is to also get the piezos. Otherwise, the H comes with a three band preamp.

So, he is wondering if it's possible to get a 4 band preamp with only a single H on the Bongo 6.

I'm going to say the answer is probably "no," and that they probably hadn't really considered that scenario.

Yes we are still making them. Yes you can order one in the LE scheme, but it will ship in the SKB case.

I contacted Peter at Act 1 Music the other day, and he informed me that the Bongo 6 will not be available left handed at this time.

L6 is the color code, but there are also different neck codes than normal depending on whether you want matching headstock or not.

L2 - 2004 - Radiance Red
L3 - 2005 - Buttercream
L4 - 2006 - Black Gold
L5 - 2007 - Blue Dawn
L6 - 2008 - Sequoia Gold

So, you'll be running out of numbers in... 2039 ...

They are putting them on the Sterling 5.

The Stingray has alnico pickups. The Sterling has ceramic pickups. IMHO, it makes sense that each of their 5-string counterparts have the same type of pickup.
