just came back after a weeks vacation at my brothers house. we had a good time (lots of beer, barbeque and some insane italian wine) and i also got to put down bass tracks on some of his songs. just wanted to share the fact that the 30th sits perfectly in the mix, even if you got 3 layers of guitar tracks on top.. hehe.. just a twincy lil turn on the treble knob and there it was! it sounded so good i had to concentrate not to dig in too hard :D

MrM

ps: logic is also.. hmm.. how do i put it.. more logical than protools. i think im gonna switch. no way i remember all those keyboard shortcuts for pt ;)

I'm with ya, MrM. And such a versatile instrument, too. I play in three distinctly different bands, all of which the 30th is a perfect fit. Much like you said, a twist of the treble (or mids or bass) is all that's required.

HUGE bass!! :)
Used a SansAmp? Or processing? Sounds like there's some overdrive in there, especially on the slides in the intro.

oh, and, well, strange lyrics.... ;)

PS: I tried to figure out the name of the band, but my Nørwåÿĭşh it a bit rustish... so, can you help out? :D
