I will work on that pic Jackson 2112 when my Black beauty arrives......Looking at your collection makes me feel like my Addiction isn't so bad!!!!! Ha....By the way...I just came home from a gig and I used my Vintage Burst ASS...it is nine years old...mint condition...and the tone is unbelievable..I guess it aged well!!!!! Except, the neck looks like a roasted neck....nice though!!!!

The bad Gas is a problem for sure, I had to get a couple Axis Tributes for sure. I wanted a Pink Evh for 15 years before I found one and then I found a green one by accident just a couple weeks after the pink one. My wife wasn't Impressed. The GAS isn't just for Balls either, their are a lot of great guitar builders out there and I love them all. Especially custom shop stuff. Your right about the Axis SS I had mine Custom made by Music Man, I waited about 6 months to get it, longest 6 months of my life, that was about 9 - 11 years ago when they offered Premium tops as an option, it's killer with the Piezo in it. How are gigs down there? Original or Covers, Mostly covers here in Calgary if you want to play lots and get paid... Usually 1000 to 1600 hundred for the band for the weekend. Some have house PA's and others don't. I hate bringing my PA!
I think I am done now with other builders and Axis's, you never know though. I am going to concentrate on finishing the Musicman EVH collection though, I would love all 11 colors but I know I at least I can find the 4 trans colours that I need.

The gig market is not good here....anymore....I stay busy..but...I have to be very versatile to get work....All of my projects are Covers.....Variety..70's, 80's and 90's rock, dance anf funk covers....I also have 2 acoustic, unplugged groups....I play piano and guitar with one....After the hurricane Katrina...everything changed....Nobody goes out to clubs anymore for live music....except in college towns....I do a 3pc..Rock trio a bunch just to work..... We make from 125.00 to 150 a man on an average I play keys too We are way underpaid!!...Private gigs,fairs, festivals come every now and then.and the money is better...I own my own PA.and use the..QSC K12 tops mostly..they are awesome...I also help set up PA and run sound for a connected wedding band, about 15 gigs a year..However, many times I feel like....why do I even waste my experience in these Loser Places, with people who wouldn't know good musicians if one fell on them and never satisified club owners who expect you to save their lousy bars!! sorry, for rambling onnnnnn!!!!!! But, I am blessed sometimes to play in front of Thousands every now and then and I get my itch satisified for a while!!
