I decided within a few minutes of getting my AL, that I wanted to dress it up a little. Something about it just screamed for Paisley. So I had Terrapin guitars whip this up for me.

Very happy with the results, and I've got more on the way. I've ordered some black tele knobs from Stewmac, and I'm thinking about replacing to stock tone capacitor with a paper and oil one.

Awesome!
It looks way better.
Abalone is nice, but it's too pretty for me.

How about a pic of the full guitar???

that sure looks like Sapphire Black more than Graphite Pearl!

I'll get some more pics of the guitar tonight. I have some from before the pickguard change.

I thought it was Sapphire Black when I first got it, but the serial number check showed that it was Graphite Pearl. I may need to take my pictures in better light.

I shot some outside pics of my AL today after work. Not full sun, but probably better light than my inside pictures. Still looks darker than Graphite Pearl, but it is.
