Wow, someone really jacked the bid up. I am afraid I am out too with the the Sterling 5 and the new LE's coming.

That's what I thought too.... but a sudden temerature change (like in opening the window on a cold winter day to get in some fresh air) of roughly 25 degrees Celsius seems to have been to much for mine... the finish of the neck got hair cracks at the edge of the fretboard at every single fret! I asked around if anybody ever has seen something like it on a Status neck, even up to mailing Rob Green of Status, but it seems to be a unique incident -- Rob thinks it must have been the "extreme temperatures" and that Status would be able to refinish the neck.

Still plays great, so I just do that... play it.
