been to the Musik Messe Frankfurt yesterday and here is a picture of the two new colors for the Y2Ds.
did i mentioned earlier, that i love this guitar in blackburst?

that solar flare color above looks more like a walnut color, rather than more red, like on the website. I love the black too! I always wanted to get a hold of a dark lord, but maybe one of these might suit those needs just fine!

I have to say that I find the red, (solar flare?), model to be pure sex with 6 strings. That is a voluptuous looking sexy geeter for sure!

in the beginning i wasn't that enthusiastic about the fatter neck shape, but now i really love it.
rocked the DL during the last two rehearsals and get more and more used to it.
it's a killer axe!

Personally I wish there were some thicker neck options as I find those extremely comfortable as well. I'm kinda weird in that I've never felt neck thickness to be as much of an issue as neck thinness.

Sometimes a beefy neck is called for.
