So I figured, while I was in DC this last week I'd check out some MM dealers. Low and behold to my suprise there was a Bongo at the GC. While the neck needed a little tightening (IMHO) the sound was Freakin Awsome! . This machine was the same color and style (Orange 4 string HH) that I saw Dave LaRue play back in Feb. I remembered then how that machine really brought the thunder. Also I was pleased to see it priced comparable with the Sting Rays. I thought the Sub was used to describe the sound compared to the SR's. If you love your SR then you will have no problem with the Bongo.
